PERFORMANCE DIRECTOR
Kieran is first & foremost an actor. Trained at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama - with over 12 years of professional experience on stage & screen. Kieran has played the west-end, toured the world (performing in over 28 countries), he has performed Shakespeare, Musical Theatre, Sketch comedy, Plays, Physical Theatre & most importantly lots of Immersive Theatre. In the world of Immersive theatre, Kieran helped to create the critically acclaimed; Peaky Blinders: The Rise - in which he created the role of Arthur Shelby. He has also done extensive work in other immersive theatre. Helping to create Doctor Who; Time Fracture for Immersive Everywhere (as Cpt Stephen Davies & Brain the Ood), and for Secret Cinema as; Benvolio in Romeo & Juliet, also appearing in productions of Dirty Dancing & also The Grand Budapest Hotel.
As a director, Kieran has had some good experiences. He is in line to be a performance director for Paddington in London 2023. In 2022 he directed; Chris Mystery & The Mystery of the Missing Christmas Tree (FacePlant/Playhouse Theatre). He has also been a Resident Director on Madagascar the Musical (UK & International Tour), Othello & Much Ado About Nothing ( Pop-Up Globe AUS/NZ). He has also assistant directed & choreographed The Rover at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama for Ben Naylor.
Kieran is also a movement & fight specialist. Most recently he was movement director for Horse-Play (Riverside Studios, Hammersmith). He was also the resident fight director for Above The Stag Theatre working on numerous productions for them. He has been fight captain for many/most productions he has been cast in.
'Actor Training' is something Kieran has been involved in for a number of years. He has run workshops for Drama Schools, Colleges, 6th Form & Schools across the country & Internationally. He has been a Senior Tutor at Theatre Studio Cheltenham for a number of years. He has also taught, assistant directed & is on the audition panel for the MA Acting Programme at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama.
